What is a skill?
A skill is a SKILL.md directory that teaches an AI agent how to do something specific. Skills follow the open Agent Skills standard published by Anthropic. They contain instructions, scripts, references, and assets that load progressively into the AI's context.
What are surfaces?
Surfaces are the AI tools that Oska delivers skills to. Currently supported surfaces are Claude (Claude Code and Claude.ai), ChatGPT Enterprise, and Codex CLI. Skills are identical across surfaces -- only the delivery mechanism differs.
Does the end user interact with Oska?
No. After a one-time sync agent installation, everything is invisible. Users open their AI tool and skills are already there. When their role changes, skills update automatically. When they leave, access is revoked within 60 seconds.
Can I use skills from the public catalog?
Yes. The public catalog contains verified skills from vendors like Cloudflare, Stripe, Sentry, HashiCorp, and others. You can import any public skill into your workspace with one click, then assign it to roles.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed monthly. The Free tier is free forever with no credit card required. Pro and Enterprise plans can be upgraded or downgraded at any time. Enterprise customers can also opt for annual billing with a discount.
What identity providers are supported?
The Free tier supports Google OAuth. Pro adds GitHub OAuth. Enterprise supports SAML 2.0 SSO with any compliant identity provider including Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, and Ping Identity, plus SCIM 2.0 for automated provisioning.
